I DO NOT recommend living here, for over $1000 a month you can live in a house or a nice apartment where there is security watching who enters the complex, and where break-ins and vagrants are not a common occurrence.
CONS:
-It may be a gated complex but the gates are left open constantly and there is no security to verify traffic through the complex.
-in the past 2 months I have heard of 10-20 different vehicles in the parking lots being vandalized (broken windshields, windows, etc) and very few items stolen, a lot of $$$$ damage for no apparent reason.
-Property has a 'Courtesy Patrol' but they are not here on a fixed schedule, are not PILB licensed security officers, and is just an old man who rides around on his bicycle. I have been here a year and I have not seen the 'courtesy patrol' in at least 4 months (and I arrive/leave after midnight constantly due to my schedule, so I should be seeing him if he is on property.)
-I was assaulted by 2 local vagrants inside of the complex in broad daylight, and the office staff had nothing to say other than I could break my lease early. And by early I mean a 60 day notice, when my lease is up in 80 days anyway.
-Management is aware of the large waterway/sewer area directly off property and when they were informed about the assault they said the suspects probably ran into the spillway and shrugged their shoulders.
pros:
-Decent apartments (quality wise inside)
-Nice office staff
-No bugs in my unit
-Decent maintenance and online payment
