I donât know what has happened to them, but the tower at Tropicana apartments have been going more and more downhill. They consistently raise the rent, they do not keep their pools open (They say that they are open for the summer, but neither pool is opened and itâs almost August, and in past years they are quite prompt at shutting the pools down the moment summer is over. This means that we effectively get virtually no pool time), Their appliances constantly breakdown and when they are "repaired" they quickly break again. itâs worth noting that the maintenance crew work very very hard, but they are clearly not supplied with what they need in order to ensure that everything remains working. In addition to all of this, they have recently started putting out poison feeders for the pigeons, which they do not supervise, meaning that any wild animals that can get to the feeders can consume poison and then die somewhere on property, which from what I understand goes against regulations in a number of ways. I have been more than a little disappointed, and I really hope that they get their act together soon; as I see more and more people leaving, and fewer and fewer people staying. We may be the next to go.
